I just wanted to let the CDC know that I’m thinking of them this Halloween. It must be tough to go to work every day dressed up as a scientist, while knowing deep down that you’re just a total douchebag covered in a lab coat.
And this Halloween, it must be extra creepy at the CDC, being that there is an anonymous revolt happening on the inside. Who can you trust? Where can you turn when you really need to cover up some fudging of data or accidental pathogenic release? Yes, it must be stressful for them, having a CDC SPIDER infestation: CDC Scientists Preserving Integrity, Diligence and Ethics in Research.
I have to say, I love the word-making acronym; I’m not usually a fan of such kitschy use of first letters, but this one paints a ghastly picture of the reality of what goes on inside our nation’s foremost authority on all things health-related.
What’s apparently happened is that a group of more than a dozen CDC scientists have banded together anonymously and written a letter to Carmen S. Villar, Chief of Staff, denouncing the rampant corruption and corporate influence that define the CDC.
The opening paragraph:
“We are a group of scientists at CDC that are very concerned about the current state of ethics at our agency. It appears that our mission is being influenced and shaped by outside parties and rogue interests. It seems that our mission and Congressional intent for our agency is being circumvented by some of our leaders. What concerns us most, is that it is becoming the norm and not the rare exception. Some senior management officials at CDC are clearly aware and even condone these behaviors. Others see it and turn the other way. Some staff are intimidated and pressed to do things they know are not right. We have representatives from across the agency that witness this unacceptable behavior. It occurs at all levels and in all of our respective units. These questionable and unethical practices threaten to undermine our credibility and reputation as a trusted leader in public health. We would like to see high ethical standards and thoughtful, responsible management restored at CDC. We are asking that you do your part to help clean up this house!”

Come to think of it, I’m not sure “preserving” was the best choice for the P in SPIDER. It implies that there are still integrity, diligence, and ethics to preserve within those web-covered walls of deceit.

Where are the ethics in an agency that’s entrusted with the health of 330 million Americans, but destroys data that is unfavorable to its wealthy corporate sponsors? Where are the ethics in that agency which then cooks data to support the other cooked data, as if it were Thanksgiving dinner, and refuses to let its scientists testify in a court case where such cooking might become a topic of scrutiny?

Of course, there haven’t been any integrity, diligence or ethics at the CDC for many, many moons. We know this because people have been suffering the post-sepsis immune deficiency of Lyme disease since the 1970s, literally dying for acknowledgment of their disease in their own personal zombie flicks, while the CDC continues to insist that antibody tests are a valid method for detecting a disease in which antibody production is severely inhibited.
Where is the integrity in an organization that for 40 years has allowed children to suffer an unimaginable fate that’s worthy of a horror movie involving poisonous ticks and mad scientists? How many victims must they claim before someone from the inside says, “It’s true: Barbara Johnson owns five patents in Europe that reveal two types of Lyme–one an HLA-linked hypersensitivity, and the other we now know is an AIDS-like disease?”
I’d provide a link to these patents on the European patent database, but the page doesn’t seem to exist any more. Here are a couple of images I had handy from our recent video that explains the entire grisly crime.
The only diligence the CDC has demonstrated with regard to Lyme disease is in its obsessive trashing of its victims and burying of evidence of their wrongdoing.
If there were any real diligence, someone on the inside would point out that the existing two-tier testing scheme invented at Barbara Johnson’s 1994 Dearborn farce (DEARBORN_PDF ) is not a valid test method in terms of the FDA’s rules on validation of an analytical method.
Or perhaps that Allen Steere fraudulently raise the cutoff for the ELISA which, since Dearborn, has effectively excluded all neurologic Lyme cases from diagnosis.
Don’t you think that a bunch of highly compensated government scientists, whose job it is to protect public health, would understand this data fairly easily and be able to look at the facts facts facts and say, “Yep, Lyme is a disaster, an immunosuppression disease, people are dropping like flies from it.”
If there were any ethics at all at the CDC, someone from the inside would be saying all of this, instead of me.
So, CDC SPIDERs, what’s next? Are you going to worry about someone pretending a lame women’s health program is not actually lame, or are you going to save some lives?

CDC SPIDERs, I know it’s a hell of a haunted house you work in, but seriously, you’d better start biting or catching bad guys in your webs, or SOMETHING. Because out here, we’re haunted by the ghosts of Lyme–boys and girls, brothers, sisters, moms, dads, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, husbands, wives, grandmas and grandpas–maybe even one of yours. The whole situation is unbelievably bad. I have been thinking about this for a long time. SPIDER could conceivably do something, but I doubt it. I think it’s going to take some high-profile class action suits against doctors and probably criminal prosecution at the IDSA and CDC to end this once and for all.

They’re saying if Trump wins he has to go after the CDC, BigPharma, and Ins Co criminals right away, just like Putin went after the oligarchs (we already have several criminal charge sheets, and here, SPIDER admits every aspect of the CDC is 100% corrupt):
